A Comforting Voice In Our Time Of Trouble
God speaks to us when we face the trials and tribulations in our lives. If we will pause and listen in our times of trouble, we will hear Him speak to us:
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
God Spoke To Paul In The Midst Of The Storm
The apostle Paul was caught up in the fiercest storm of his life when he was a prisoner being sent to Rome. At his point of need, God spoke His words of comfort to Paul. God sent an angel to assure him that both Paul and all those on board the ship would not drown in the storm (Acts 27:24).
Application
Are you facing trials and tribulations in your life? Be still in God's presence. Wait upon Him. Let Him speak to you in the stillness. Listen to Him as He speaks in various ways to your heart in your time of need. The ears of faith will still hear Him speaking words of love and comfort today.
